In one of the most deprived parts of the UK a millionaire property developer leaves his luxurious life behind, takes on a secret identity and lives life undercover in a deprived area of the country. Living on a limited budget, they must forge their own way in the community – working and volunteering alongside the locals they see first hand the appalling conditions families must live in. This film about property developer Chek Whyte in Salford was selected to represent the series and was nominated for BAFTA, Broadcast and RTS awards.
